Sustrans, the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity, which promotes the National Cycle Network and other exciting initiatives, requires an experienced individual to join our national team.

Project officer, WorkPlace engagement
£21,534 - £24,103 per annum
(dependent on relevant skills and experience)
37.5 hours per week – 12 month contract - based in inverness (ref: SUS2018)

The new exciting role will work alongside NHS Highland to produce a series of site specific Active Travel Action Plans, engaging staff through a range of activities designed to increase the number of active or sustainable travel journeys for commuting and business travel.

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of sustainable behaviour change or employee engagement project delivery, of organising and publicising events in a workplace setting and of marketing and promoting such events. You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, excellent presentation skills, be IT literate and have the ability to motivate and enthuse others. Experience of partnership working and of working with key internal workplace departments is also essential. You will also be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
