MGL Contractors, are a successful Civil Engineering Contracting business based
in The Highlands of Scotland, operating throughout the UK.

We specialise in major earthworks for major road schemes, power infrastructure, flood
defence & coastal protection, residential developments, commercial and industrial
developments.

To support our operations we require an Accounts Assistant to join our accountancy team.

The successful applicant for the position of Accounts Assistant must have a proven
track record, with previous accounts administration experience. Demonstrate
excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.

SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE; EXPERTISE AND/OR ABILITIES CONSISTENTLY REQUIRED:-

Desirable qualification in accounts but essential administration ability utilising Excel,
Sage, database management, Word and internet and email usage within a busy
construction accounts environment. Ability to influence decision makers re. returns
of timesheets & other financial documents etc. Essential communication ability across a diverse range of people from various organisational roles. Disciplined approach to providing the financial controller with monthly, weekly and other timeous reports allied to other monitoring as required.

The position is based in Daviot, Inverness Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
