The Port of Cromarty Firth is seeking to appoint two Non-Executive Members to its Board.

The initial appointment will be for a period of three years commencing on 1 January 2018. Each Board Member will be expected to commit to up to two days per month.
The position is remunerated.

The Port is a Trust Port set up by an Act of Parliament. It exists to improve, safeguard and develop the Cromarty Firth as a Port for the benefit of all its stakeholders and is a self-financing commercial business with 100% of profits being reinvested in the development of the Port.

The Port is currently undergoing a period of significant commercial change and as such the Board Members will have an opportunity to make an important contribution
to the strategic direction and governance of the Port.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate ability and a proven track record in their chosen profession and, to complement the existing range of experience on the Board, should ideally have professional or personal experience in one or more of the
following areas: marine and shipping management across various sectors:
offshore supply, tanker, sub-sea, general cargo, offshore renewables, cruise
experience within national and local political government environments including stakeholder consultation and engagement across a diverse number of stakeholder groups experience at a senior level with responsibility for strategic decision making
