Overview: You will direct and motivate a team while personally assisting in providing a high quality service for the guests and taking necessary action so that the department achieves its targets. Working within a closely nit team of six full time and a number of part time employees dependent on the size of the event. Events and private dining experiences range in size and the numbers can be anywhere from 10 – 350 guests. Accountabilities: Reporting directly to the Private Dining Manager you will manage the day to day meeting and events calendar and ensure that each event runs efficiently and smoothly. You will review, evaluate, plan and take action along with the team. Planning, checking and passing on a relevant briefing so that each team member knows how and what to expect before each event or meeting held at the resort. The perfect candidate: Experience within hospitality is essential either within banqueting, events or restaurant within a 5 Hotel or quality food & beverage operation. Previous management experience together with a proven track record of developing a team, with the ability to set and evaluate performance. You will be passionate about the industry and delivering great service, you will show flair and be constantly looking for new and fresh ideas and encourage creative thinking within the team.
