ROTHES PLANT

Our Production facility in Rothes, Speyside, is one of our nine production plants in EMEA, part of the Manufacturing network for the region. Home of Glen Grant single malt, from Rothes we ship worldwide. The plant is also part of the regional Supply Chain organization for EMEA, headquartered in Milan and overseeing Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality, HSE, Innovation and Engineering activities throughout the region, with local Planning and Logistics organizations in all our in market companies.

Role Overview
The Bottling Hall Planner is responsible of coordinating the finalisation of the production plan, confirming the production schedule and booking resources accordingly. The purpose of the role is to ensure optimal supply planning with respect to local costs and the compliance with inventory policies.
The role reports to the Plant Director Rothes and plays a key role in the site management team, working closely with all departments to fulfil business needs.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
> Elaboration of a monthly bottling plan with the specific indication of SKU to be produced and in a priority order, in agreement with Vat Room and Bottling Managers
> Scheduling the production defining the quantities to be bottled
> In agreement with the Production Manager, defines the number of people needed in the bottling hall
> Manages the stock of raw materials (labels, outer, caps, glass etc.), used during the bottling, taking care of all purchasing needed for production, working closely with suppliers and liaising with the regional procurement department
> Guarantees fast supply to the bottling line
> Guarantees the accomplishment of the production program and in case it is required, will make changes to achieve the expected results
> Identification of the main risks and areas for improvements and execution of the necessary changes to enhance the overall plan accordingly (i.e. resolve capacity issues and materials delays)
> Works closely with the EMEA Planning Hub (in regards to Rough Cut Capacity, finalisation of the production plan, components safety stock definition etc...)
> Manages production orders and checks its progress
> Manages the creation of new SKUs, material codes, BOMs and routing assignments
> Deliver accurate financial and volume forecasts

Experience and Skills

Experience:
> University Degree in a STEM subject is desired
> Approximately 2 years of experience in either Planning, Production and Distribution, preferably within a similar role
> Excellent data analytics and good hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel for planning purposes
> Working knowledge of modules SAP (MM-PM) is a plus
> Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
