We are looking for an extremely driven and highly organised events and hospitality professional with a track record in delivering inspiring corporate events with a fastidious eye for efficiency and detail. Amazing!
THE ROLE:
This is largely an office based role (within the Newton-le-Willows head office), though you will also be required to attend trade shows, make customer visits, and attend/manage customer hospitality/experience events.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with strong experience and a proven track record in the events industry – ideally within the automotive sector.
Duties include:
* Working with the senior management team to develop and execute an annual plan for customer trips and hospitality
* Planning travel and accommodation for corporate events, customer trips and tradeshows
* Managing and maximising the budget to deliver meaningful and long-lasting customer relationships through memorable events
* Assisting the sales and marketing teams to promote the brands and products through seminars and product demonstration events
* Ensuring events related rights attached to our partnership agreements are well executed and planned (e.g. hospitality packages at sports events)
* Working with the marketing team to maximise communication and promotion of trips and events through targeted ad campaigns, social media, and PR activities.
* Budget management – working with finance to ensure spend is properly planned and managed
* Negotiating with suppliers and third parties to obtain the highest levels of service and value
* General ad hoc office duties to ensure departmental tasks are completed
Required Attributes:
* Experience in managing corporate events and travel
* Energetic and passionate about driving sales and building customer relationships
* Exceptional organisational and planning skills
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Adaptable to working in different business environments
* Ability to embrace change
* Willingness to travel (UK and abroad)
* Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
