We are delighted to be working with Arthur and Carmichael to support the expansion of their property, legal and business services through the recruitment of a new Legal Assistant to join their established and experienced team based in their Dornoch office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive legal firm, based in the highlands who pride themselves on the provision of high quality services across the UK. As a member of the Arthur and Carmichael team, you will play a critical role in their continued success and growth.
You will be providing a legal administrative service to a variety of fee earners across the business. You will be completing administrative duties alongside support towards building a small caseload of your own. This is a varied role which allows you to grow as a professional, make delegated decisions and enhance your legal knowledge and experience.
Main responsibilities for this role are:
" You will be preparing agreements based on standard templates
" You will be providing research support and analysis, as and when required
" You will be aiding with ad hoc legal projects
" You will be drafting and reviewing final version of documents
" You will update operate the case management system and comply with GDPR rules.
" You will be creating and regularly maintaining the legal database
" Preparing correspondence and updating clients
About you:
" Strong written and oral communication skills are a must
" A desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job
" Legal administrative experience supporting fee earners
" You have enthusiasm to support the team and become an integral part of the business
" You have strong organisational and research skills
