Support to Chief Executive

Starting Salary: £20,700

Inverness

Permanent, 37 Hours per week

(Ref: 023-330)

Really, our role couldn't be clearer. At Scottish Natural Heritage we work with Scotland's people to care for nature - a global asset that provides resources that are vital for life. We promote natures care and improvement, its responsible enjoyment, its greater understanding and appreciation, and its sustainable use, now and for future generations.

Working in the Executive Office (EO) you will deliver a professional support service on behalf of the Executive Office. You will play a key role in supporting the Executive Assistant and the Chief of Staff in support of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The nature of this role is varied and involves direct support to the CEO with tasks including aspects of diary management and meeting arrangements, arranging the provision of briefing, email management, assistance in dealing with all types of correspondence, managing travel arrangements and general administrative support.

You will act as a key contact for the CEO and support their attendance at external and internal events and meetings, facilitating communications between SNH staff & the CEO and working with the wider Executive Office.

This is a pivotal role in the team in which effective communication and coordination with other members of the team is essential along with cross team working, particularly with the Directorate Support Teams and our Communications Team.
